How to Donate

Your donations help with general operating expenses as well as specific programs, such as:

Local Transportation - Last year, volunteers drove approximately 10,000 miles for shopping, errands, medical appointments and home care on behalf of clients.

Out-of-county Transportation – Last year, volunteers drove approximately 5,000 miles taking clients to medical appointments in Lincoln, Omaha and other cities.

Commodity Food Deliveries – Last year, approximately 300 miles were driven making over 100 deliveries of commodity food boxes. Those 300 miles would have been 4,080 miles if each recipient had had to make each trip to the distribution clinic individually.

Hospital-to-Home Rides – Sometimes individuals are taken to the hospital by ambulance and then have no way to get back home. It may be after Handibus hours, or the patient may live alone and have no family close by. When that happens, Neighbor to Neighbor helps out by providing a ride home.
